Huipil Largo - Muñequitos

This is a beautiful traditional huipil made in San Melchor Betaza, Oaxaca. Each piece features a series rhombuses embroidered throughout the front and back. The shape each huipil carries is also known as "butterflies" and created to form a symbol that represents sunrise.

• Technique: The shape of rhombus are achieved by guiding each stitch using an industrial machine. This piece also feaures intricate hand-embroidery using silk thread throughout the front and back of the huipil.
• Care: Wash by hand, do not wring, and do not use bleach.
